Privacy policy

Your reference number or customer ID
Used only to build a link to the official PITC bill portal. It is validated on our server but never logged, written to a database, or stored — see api/resolve.php.
Saved / recent searches
If you check a bill, it may appear under "recent searches" the next time you visit — that list lives entirely in your browser's local storage, on your device. We have no access to it, and clearing your browser data removes it completely.
Theme preference
Your light/dark mode choice is saved the same way — locally, in your browser only.
Analytics
We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which DISCO pages are used, in aggregate. This never includes your reference number or customer ID.
Cookies
We use only the local storage needed for the items above — no advertising or tracking cookies.
Third-party sites
Clicking "Open Official Bill" takes you to bill.pitc.com.pk, operated by the Power Information Technology Company. Once there, PITC's own privacy practices apply — not ours.
